2008 Pinot Noir
Winemaking Notes The grapes for our 2008 Pinot Noir were harvested between August 16th and September 5th with an average brix of 25.9. After fermenting on the skins for 6-9 days, the must was pressed and the resulting wine finished fermentation in Stainless Steel tanks. The wine then received the equivalent of approximately 6 months of aging in French Oak barrels.
Tasting Notes Medium Garnet in color and aromas of Cherry, Strawberry and Raspberry are accompanied by a bouquet of Vanilla and Cocoa. Round and soft in the mouth, with bright red berry flavors, the fruit and oak are well balanced in the finish.
